Asian Academy of Film and Television celebrates Hindi day

“Hindustan where we live, we laugh, we speak, we sing, we dance. But what is happening to Hindustan? People speaking English, singing English songs, making English language as their preferred language and forgetting their mother tongue Hindi. Europeans speak their language proudly! Do they feel ashamed while they speak? No! So, why do feel as low class while we speak our mother tongue Hindi?” Said Dr. Sandeep Marwah (President of Asian Group of Asian Education Group) while expressing his emotions to his faculty and his students.

Hindi Day, which falls on 10th January, was celebrated at Asian Academy of Film on 10th of January at Asian Academy of Film and Television by releasing a poster. A large group of Hindi speaking audience was part of the event.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah also known as “Father of Cell Phone Cinema” also expressed “To promote Hindi between youngsters who are bend towards English language, we have started with Hindi cinema and to diverse such an amazing concept of entertainment in front of the whole world we have already started ‘National Award in Hindi Cinema under Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh’.”

Continuing his speech Dr. Sandeep Marwah shed lights to his new literary festival where Hindi language is set as the main language and all the projects and shorts films are made in Hindi. Asian Academy of Arts has recently launched Writers Association of India where Hindi is given extra ordinary importance, said Dr. Marwah.

“As Asian Academy of Film and Television is also comprised of radio, we have our own radio station Radio Noida 107.4 and our television station MSTV in which most of the programs are in Hindi. Department of Marwah studios is also working with publication of Hindi books on regular basis under Sushil Bharti’s leadership”, added Dr. Marwah.
