Noida: AAFT University of Media and Arts have faith in propagating all the social causes, which United Nations has marked on specific days, and support UNIC-United Nations Information Centre from couple of years. A significant event of International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence was observed at the campus by releasing the poster of the same.
The expression “conflict-related sexual violence” alludes to rape, sexual slavery, forced prostitution, forced pregnancy, forced abortion, forced sterilisation, forced marriage and any other type of sexual violence of identical gravity executed against ladies, men, young girls or boys that is directly or indirectly connected to a conflict.

On 19 June 2015, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 19 June of every year the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, so as to bring issues to light of the need to put an end to conflict-related sexual violence, to honour the victims and survivors of sexual brutality around the globe and to pay tribute to every one of the individuals who have boldly dedicated their lives to and lost their lives in standing up for the eradication of these crimes.
