Noida 18th April: The second day of 3rd Global Fashion and Design Week pulled in a lot more designers from all over India and abroad. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and gigantic turnover of young designers and fashion lovers.
“We are successful in our endeavour. Nobody in India has ever thought of organising a fashion festival to that extent. Design plays a significant influence in every industry, be a vehicle or plane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas”, said Dr. Sandeep Marwah (President of Festival).
“I value the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this sort of fair to international level. Before long, this fashion week will be known to the world. I guarantee you that Morocco will partake in this festival next time. I am fortunate to be associated and it has given me significant ideas about designing”, said H.E. Muhomed Maliki (Ambassador of Morocco to India) lighting the ceremonial lamp.
“Festivals like these unite numerous nations. I am inspired that designers are additionally exhibiting fashion range from Bulgaria. We would like to be part of each event of ICMEI, it is in fact an international platform”, said H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova (Ambassador of Bulgaria to India).
Indo Morocco Film and Cultural Forum was launched from the stage where H.E. Muhomed Maliki was honoured with the Patronship and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Sandeep Marwah additionally presented Patronship of Indo Bulgarian Film and Cultural Forum to H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova.

He is in genuine nation building and promoting young talent now in fashion and design as well. Let’s endeavour to make a better India together”, said Kuljeet Chahal (General Secretary Bhartiya Janata Party).
The first lady of Algeria in India Yahia Cherif Yassina and Baujdaria Rim from Embassy of Tunisia were likewise present there. A coffee table book ‘Bazaars of India’ by Tanya Sharma was released by the dignitaries.
Planner Vaibhav Singh, Mitali Bhatnagar, Ayan Bhatnagar, Rinkoo Shroff, Academician Ritu Mathur and Aditya Vig, Sanjeev Maglani of Kalpana Garments were other speakers on the occasion. Ritu Lal (Director AAFT) proposed vote of thanks.
A staggering colourful authentic range of garments were exhibited by young designers including Mohd Uwais who displayed the range from South Africa pursued by Jyoti Bisht and Priyansha Priyal from Slovenia, Vdika Singh and Payal from Iran, Sanya Sahani and Amisha Choudhary from Afghanistan, Purnima and Vikas Yadav from Nigeria, Avisha Adhkari and Riya Dobhal from Bulgaria, Pooja Choudhary and Vandana Yadav from Sudan, Nidhi Tiwari from Maldives and Manpreet Kaur presented range from Egypt
Later Sandeep Marwah honoured the dignitaries by presenting them with memento and participation certificate of fashion and design week.
